A very clever gfx member noticed in the first one in this series that these birds are not really free....which is true in a sense...but I can't change the title anymore now can I
This shot is taken at the anual Falconryfestival, which was organised at the Englefield Estate in Theale, England. This was the first international Falconryfestival held. Falconers from all over the world were represented at this festival, which was all about celebrating more than 3000 years of falconry.

the angle is a bit harsh ... the superposition of the face of the bird and the face of the man is a bit troublesome imo

What I like here is the similarity between the falconer and the eagle. Well captured!
What could be slightly improved is the DOF and exposure. I understand the difficulties in finding proper angles in these kind of events.

purplerose said it in terms of the midetones. The bg is a kind of incoherant to the title. Some sky would have been better. Yeah... I know you have already answered to that crit, but it is somehow ... kind of paradox, still.
