Love the 'threathening' sky, for lack of a better word. And I like the glimmer in the water. I would have panned a little bit to the right. Wish I could see more of the houses (like in the second picture you attached). The rocks in the foreground give it a nice depth though.

Although this was a clod weather shot, the colours could be a bit wormer, with a little help of photoshop.
Do you have a tripod? I think an HDR could be a good choice here.
